CLAIREMONT

Click on the map to browse Clairemont is a large middle-class neighborhood southeast of La Jolla. Sometimes includes the neighborhood of Linda Vista. The area has easy access to freeways as it is bordered on the west by Interstate 5, on the east by Interstate 805, on the north by Highway 52, and on the south by Interstate 8.

Much of Clairemont is built on mesas that drop off into ravines. Many homes have been positioned to command views of the countryside or the ocean. Clairemont has at least 13 parks, 2 golf courses, Mesa (community) College and the University of San Diego (Catholic). The colleges offer their neighbors many interesting classes and activities.
